Learn about the Association and its membership levels

ASPAS is the only Portuguese astrology association and brings together a diverse community united by a common purpose:

to promote, study, and develop astrology in Portugal.

It comprises four types of members—students, active members (professionals and interested individuals), honorary members, and founding/honorary members—fostering connections among those who learn, those who practice, and those who support this field of knowledge.

Founding Members

Founding members are those who have registered with ASPAS by the date the articles of incorporation were filed.

Honorary Members are members proposed by the Board of Directors—with a minimum of ten—and appointed by resolution of the General Assembly; eligibility for this category depends on their contribution to the cause of astrology and the services they have rendered to further the interests of “ASPAS.”

Honorary Members are all those who serve on the governing bodies of “ASPAS” and contribute to its day-to-day operations.

Full Members are current members—individuals or legal entities who have been admitted and who are not honorary members or student members.

Our Purpose

Our primary purpose is to ensure the integrity and excellence of the practice of astrology by strictly adhering to the Association’s Bylaws and Code of Ethics.

We work together to:

Establishing Structures: To establish solid standards for the teaching and professional practice of astrology.

Sharing Knowledge: Promote the exchange of knowledge and ongoing research among members.

Aligning Visions: Establish a clear and unified voice for the future of astrology.

Our Mission

Our fundamental mission is the unification and global recognition of astrology.

To that end, we commit to:

Promoting Global Unity: To play an active role in the global astrological community by establishing partnerships and agreements that foster sharing and unity among professionals who speak different languages.
